Sports Massage Therapy
We understand that injuries are not only painful but can also be extremely frustrating. Injury – whether recent or longer-term – can prevent you from enjoying your daily activities, achieving your goals, and doing the things you love doing most. Our sport massages target the muscles and connective tissues used in physical activity. We offer 30 and 45-minute sports massages and will take block bookings to ensure your regular support. To achieve the objectives for physical good health, our client consultation is used to identify needs, to set reasonable expectations and to agree to the nature of the massage that you will receive. We will then use a variety of techniques, including deep tissue massage, stretches and/or percussive therapy with a Therogun ® Pro for areas where direct hands-on contact is inappropriate. During each massage, we will listen to your feedback and appropriately adapt. So, what can a sports massage from us potentially address? Amongst other issues, our sports massage can aid in the repair of muscle and connective tissue damage and/or will reduce or alleviate pain whilst releasing positive natural hormones, such as endorphins, serotonin and dopamine, to encourage relaxation.
